Project: Time Attack

Here we will present the step by step updates of our Subaru STI track car. Consisting of custom fabricated one-off AKUMA made parts. It will surely not disappoint!



 

 

  • Cage & Fuel Cell Installed


 


 

 

  • Dry sump oil System being installed and fabricated


 


 

 

  • Cosworth built engine + some other goodies

 

 


 

 

  • AP Racing Brakes

 


 

  • Interior kept minimal *Note Cosworth Pectal Gauge Unit*

 


 

  • Intercooler & Piping fabricated and completed

 


 

  • Bumper trimmed to clear intercooler and installed

 


 


  • Front Fascia Installed


 


 

  • Oil lines being hooked up to reservoir for dry sump

 

 


 

  • Coolant Overflow Bracket

 

 


 

  • Instrument Panel being wired up and tuning. We are very close to start up!

1st and 3rd at Real Time Attack

Real Time Attack at NJMP

Congratulations to John Shafer and Jeremy Rohrs for getting 3rd and 1st place at the Real Time Attack event at New Jersey Sports Motorpark!

John drove the Akuma Evolution X to a 3rd place victory in the Unlimited Class with his fastest lap time of 1:17.919. Missing second place by only .409 seconds!

Jeremy Rohrs drove a Akuma Built Nissan GTR to a 1st place victory in the Exotic class with his fastest lap of the day being 1:13.546. Topping a Porsche 911 GT3 by .506 seconds!

The Akuma Team ventured to Millville, NJ for the first time this weekend to participate in the RedLine Time Attack event. We had an amazing weekend and are looking forward to the next event.
